If you have missed my #52LittleThings posts so far – I am taking part in weekly challenges with AXA PPP healthcare to make small changes one week at a time to become healthier and happier! and this week is all about trying a new recipe.
Now some of you will already be aware of my disastrous cooking episodes … in fact why I keep blogging about them only to upset myself further is still a mystery yet I still share each and every cock up …
Over the last few months I have desperately wanted to try new things on the menu front. Having spent years eating the same meals week in, week out, not only will this not be healthy balanced diet as it has a restricted nutrient pool but we are all board to the back teeth!
So I have tentatively started on my cooking and baking journey with some recent menu changes with Chorizo Pepper Potatoes and also Chicken Fajita Plait but these were not especially healthy and weight loss for me is a massive part of my life right now so I have some healthier alternatives on the cards including some smoothies such at this watercress and orange one, as these are packed with goodness and not even my rubbish cooking skills can get those wrong? .. can they?
So my plan this week is to look into meal planning and to be more organised and to also try one new recipe at the weekend … one is ok right? …… now how easy is soup to make??
Do you have a favorite recipe your family love? or do you have an idea for a new one your want to try?
