If you have not come across my #51LittleThings posts before I have been taking part in weekly challenges with AXA PPP healthcare to make small changes in my lifestyle one week at a time to become a healthier and happier person.
So this week is all about breaking a bad habit! oh heck! where to start on this … it means I have to voice my bad habits to the whole world… I am feeling grateful that I have no really rancid ones that I have to confess too.
I do have to admit I am about to celebrate a special day in the next month or so as last year I gave up my worst habit of all …. smoking.
It was hard and ugly and I questioned my own sanity many times .. especially since I had some interesting side effects and it took the best part of 6 months to stop craving cigarettes completely .. although I still get the odd craving!
My next vice is on the cards is ….
Those of you that know me in person will know how attached I am to the stuff and that Its my coffee substitute and so don’t function well without it on board.
I am terrible and this stuff does no good to innards at all in fact it has probably pickled mine.
So next week I am going to give myself a headache and cut right back on my fizzy pop consumption and maybe since I am laying it out there I might just stop biting my nails to?!
Nail biting only occurs when I don’t have long manicured nails but I still haven’t got it in my head yet that I need to stop nibbling in order for them to grow! …. I can see some fake nails coming this way soon .. well being pampered while giving up a bad habit can’t really be bad can it?
So come on then what are the bad habits you would love to break?
