If you have been here reading my blogs before you might have caught my recent review of the Casdon Cordless Dyson Vacuum which we loved.
Well, if not don’t worry you can click the link above and catch up or keep on reading to find out about another of their products, the Casdon Shopping Basket and Chip & Pin Till.
When we received the till it came all in one piece, however minus some stickers and a couple of extra cardboard boxes that needed folding. The rest came already preassembled and stacked in the basket ready for play.
What I didn’t expect was that no batteries came with it at all and with both the till and the chip and pin machine requiring batteries you certainly need to take that onboard and remember to buy extras when you buy the till.
Jacob was instantly smitten with the till and the money.
Although he favoured the credit cards he loved opening the till drawer and putting in the money with its easy to use button.
The chip and pin machine he loved and although it took a few attempts to grasp how to put the credit cards in he soon had the idea and loved the beeping as he keyed in the pin number.
The plastic food tins all have fared really well but some of the cardboard boxes were damaged within the first couple of days as Jacob is really clumsy with things. However, to counter that I must say that with so many of them and extras in the packaging there is still plenty for Jacob to play with.
The shopping is a nice size for his little hands and the basket is a really lovely size too.
Jacob has spent days and days playing with his new toys and loves them. I personally think they are super price but the only thing I disliked was the wire that connected the chip and pin machine to the till – Jacob does drag the chip and pin machine behind him when he moves the till to a different room so I will be snipping the wire, all for peace of mind too to ensure he doesnt wrap himself up in it either.
Thanks Casdon for allowing us to try out this lovely little set.
