This month sees the much-loved CBeebies Land turning one and really in my book every birthday needs a good party .. it seems I am not alone in that thought process either!
On arriving at Alton Towers this Sunday Ollie, Joshua and I headed for CBeebies Land as for the last week Joshua has been counting down with bated breath (no really that should say so much excitement the little guy was fit burst) although the weather was not at its best on first arriving it didn’t stop my little man queuing up for the new ride for this year – The Octonauts Rollercoaster! While queuing up Joshua even became a fully fledged Octo-Cadet!
Just before lunch we headed to the hospitality suite to party lunch away with some of the gang from In The Night Garden and I have to say it far out weighed my expectations!
With a beautifully decorated room, perfect for a ITNG party that was only the tip of the iceberg! The children had a large range craft things to make, dancing, singing, personal photos with Igglepiggle and Upsy Daisy, balloon models and some fantastic food, it really was the most amazing event and one in which Joshua raved about all the way home …
This time last year the In The Night Garden ride officially opened and so while celebrating its 1st birthday this weekend there was more exciting Guinness World Record things happening too! As Igglepiggle unfurled the worlds largest polar fleece hoping to set a world record on the anniversary of the rides opening!
While at Alton Towers we got to spend some time in the theme park exploring although we didn’t get time to visit many other rides in CBeebies Land this Bank Holiday Sunday we did get to let Joshua run off some steam at the Tree Fu Tom adventure playground before we headed home!
Thank you for inviting us visit and for allowing us to celebrate at your party!
