Many moons ago I fell in love with Baby Annabell, however when I was a little girl the range was fairly new and extortionate in price …. fast forward a few *cough cough* decades and Baby Annabell is a much-loved feature in many little persons lives with the sheer amount of matching accessories and parts to encourage even the most restricted imaginations into a whole world of role play and fun and its now much more affordable than ever before.
However as it’s always been the case anything that is doll related tends to have been marketed at girls and parents like me with boys have simply overlooked the importance of this kind of role play. I maybe just speaking for myself but I can honestly say that buying a doll for Joshua has not been high up on the list of birthday gifts and I am not sure why.
I am going to share with you how we found Baby Annabell’s interactive brother – herein referred to as Cecil (Joshua’s name for him)
This version of doll is a whole new level to what I remember as a child with its moving facial expressions while sucking and closing its eyes, he also cries real tears and even burps!
I have to say since Cecil (Baby Annabell’s Brother doll) was utterly fantastic to play with and had Joshua totally hooked from the moment he arrived.
He came well packaged and came with a bottle (you fill with water) dummy and bib and since he is the exact same size as the ‘Baby Annabell’ if you wanted to extend into buying the accessories they certainly would fit.
Talking of them both being the same size, I thought it best to point out that in fact the only difference with the interactive bolls are their outfits one being pink and one being blue.
Since Cecil has settled well in our house I am thrilled that today I am able to offer a Baby Annabell’s interactive brother to one very lucky reader too!
