Recently we were sent the Babybundle swim and float seat and it was time to take the plunge … literally.
Jacob’s ‘firsts’ have been coming thick and fast recently and taking him swimming for the first time has been on the cards for months but time was getting away from us.
After our holiday Ollie had some days of planned and so we decided to take the plunge all together and head off a family for our first family swim as a family of 4.
Maybe its just me, but the first swim always makes me feel super protective, what if he hates it? What if its too cold? What if he screams or worse still what if he fills his nappy … however it was great knowing we had the swim float covered it was certainly great not having to think about that!
When the swim float arrived I loved the fact that the air valves are easy to locate and are really easy to use too so it doesn’t take 3 days to inflate, just a minute or so.
The Swim seat has nice and wide leg openings to ensure easy access getting Jacob in and out and doesn’t compromise on support either as he was held beautifully in the water.
I do worry when using inflatables that their maybe sharp edges on the seams but with this all was fine. In the water Jacob loved it and he felt well-balanced and safe.
We had an absolutely fantastic first time swimming with him and although it would have been great to get some more images it was really busy so we only have a couple of photo captured while no other littles were around so please do excuse the blurriness.
Now to book in for some baby swim lessons for him as for me swimming is a life skill that needs to be learnt, however till he can this swim seat is a great base to build up his confidence in the water.
