I am immensely thrilled to do the job that I do online, I get some amazing opportunities to find out about new products being launched onto the market and last week I had one such invite.
If you have been a reader of my blog for a while you will know that I have reviewed several products from Leicester brand BabyStyle over the last year, the Oyster Zero pushchair , Award winning Hybrid Stroller and the BabyStyle Oyster Atom.
News on the pushchair grape vine at the back end of last year was that BabyStyle was planning on a new version of their family favourite pushchair the Oyster.
The Oyster 3 pushchair is set to launch into stores in 3 months time (September) so I was super eager to attend the pre launch event with BabyStyle at the Leicester City Football Club to hear all about how the new offering and to find out just how it had been updated from the Oyster 2.
Being less than an hour from the venue it didn’t take long to arrive at Leicester City Football Clubs ground where the BabyStyle team were waiting to greet us.
The team from BabyStyle gave us a really detailed instructional presentation on the Oyster 3’s features and it was clear to see why the Oyster 3 has been billed at the ‘best pushchair they’ve ever designed’
Comparing the Oyster 3 from the Oyster 2 is the noticeable height difference along with its ability to fold with the seat unit attached in either world facing or parent facing modes and with one of the smallest compact folds for a pushchair of this size I had seen I was really impressed!
The Oyster 3 comes in 2 chassis colours, oyster city grey or mirror and with 8 distinctive colour options in textured fabrics there is bound to be one to suit everyones preferences.
For me there re some amazing new features on the pushchair that will mean it will last from birth to 22kgs and the adjustable hood height is a genius feature and one I have not spotted on any other pushchair currently. I also love the adjustable foot rest that you can turn the padding inside out to make it a leg rest instead for longer legged toddlers.
While at the event I was given a BabyStyle Oyster 3 to take home and use with Jacob over the next few weeks to see how it worked properly so watch this space for a full review in a few weeks!
