The first 6/7 months of this pregnancy it would be fair to say I concentrated on getting the house ready and with a full decorative referb it would be fair to say I kind of neglected my own beautifying needs and as my toenails disappeared from view and my ability to reach them diminished I have been super excited to get to this week as I had been booked in for a whole morning of beautifying treats from Calgel toe nail varnish, waxing and my eyebrows!
Although I am not a fan of people being so close in my personal space, normally its something I endure but this week it has been heavenly … there is something so satisfying to know that not only am I ticking off one of the last things on my ‘to do before baby gets here’ list but also to know no more attempted shaving needs to occur and knowing my toes are looking far nicer than they have done for the last 6 months! … after all I am hoping I should see more of them soon!
I have also been super excited to finally get my hair done, I have a super mobile hair stylist who comes to the house but with tying my hair up everyday with decorating I have missed my last 2 appointments and so my hair which has developed the thickness of pregnancy hair (it really is true that hair thickens) and was in major need of sorting! but my goodness I am feeling rather more human with it done!
I may not be out gallivanting to show off the beautifying I have had, but I am certainly glad I have managed to fit it in and I can sit in my PJ’s being totally sleep deprived knowing from top to toe I am looking as best as I can be! … After all Pj’s and wonderful hair, eyebrows and toenails make all the difference don’t they!
Not only do I envy anyone that get this amount of beautifying done regularly I might even try to make it my thing to get at least 2 things done a month … funds allowing that is.
