After many years of struggling with standard trainers or standard leather boots we have been on the look out for boots that offer more than just some plastic between our toes and any snow or ice we may have!
Recently Ollie and I were sent some Hi-Tec boots for us to see what they had to offer in terms of comfort and style.
Altitude V 200 i Waterproof Men’s Walking Boots
For the last few months I have been telling hubster of the joys of walking boots and so far all that had happened is that he scoffed at me. So when we were sent these boots to review I was limbering up my facial muscles ready for the smug look.
I was not disappointed!
The Altitude V 200 boots are designed for Autumns and winter months with their Thinsulate insulation to keep feet warm and the i-sheild protection to keep the boots clean and stain free while maintaining the lightweight breathability … it was time to give them a puddle jumping, November morning or 2 trial …
These boots were super comfy according to hubs, and also lighter than he thought they would be and were easy to get on and off with the hook, eye type fastening.
I think these are certainly one of Ollie’s winter must haves as he is loving them! I have no doubt these super stylish boots will be getting some major use from here on in .. come snow or rain.
Cornice Women’s Snow Boot
The Cornice Women’s Snow Boots are snow and water resistant with a have a tearproof EVA shell outer, and a really super chunky sole for extra traction in the snow ( now that i like the sound of!
I fell in love with these boots the moment I set eyes on them, I love the colour’s on the boots, I love the thick rubber foot, but also the fact is and I kid you not .. they are like moon boots! .. they are super bouncy and are so snug they are verging on slipper like to wear.
I have totally been smitten why these and really can’t wait for the snow to come this year … I know when it does for the first time in a long time I will have super warm feet!
