Some of my long time readers will be fully aware of my love of Entertainment One’s Peppa Pig and more to the point my eldest Sons love of the pink pair and his subsequent obsession of Peppa Pig.
Now he is 5 his love of Peppa Pig is beginning to wane but I am super pleased that with baby Jacob now here the Peppa Pig love affair can continue for a few more years to come!
Recently we were really lucky to be sent some new Peppa Pig products that are showcasing this spring and starring in Asda’s annual Baby & Toddler event for 5 weeks.
During the Peppa Pig event there will be a large selection of new Peppa Pig merchandise from, clothing to toys and there will even be some limited edition Peppa Pig Packs or Little Angle Nappies.
On Saturday 16th April, 60 Asda stores nationwide will also be hosting an extra special day of Peppa fun as shoppers will have the chance to take a picture of their little ones jumping in a muddy puddle with Peppa & George to share with friends and family. There will also be a chance to pick up a free activity booklet with games, activities, stickers and vouchers! For full details of participating venues and even more Peppa Pig fun head over to www.asda.com/peppapig.
We were sent a couple of the new products to take a look at prior to the event and we were thrilled with the new Peppa & George Discovery Cube, it’s a super size and lovely and plush and has lots of activities to stimulate baby’s sense and encourage baby development from birth. It has a baby safe mirror, crinkle texture and a lovely George Pig toy that sits inside a pocket.
The second item we had the pleasure of taking a look at was the Peppa Pig for Baby – Jiggle Peppa which out of the two was my favourite, we are just getting to the stage with Jacob that he is more aware when we go out and about instead of sleeping for the entire time so finding toys that can be attached to things is fab he loves looking at them move and with him now starting to wiggle his arms it’s only a matter of time before he finds the lovely plastic ring and with a pull he will be no doubt making him jiggle as its great for hand eye coordination.
I will be looking out for Asda’s Baby and Toddler event in my local store as I do now have my eye on several other things!
