Yay, I am finally breaking the silence and saying CHRISTMAS! … I know for some November is not the time to start thinking about Christmas, never mind starting to buy but let’s be honest it has to be done and I am a massive organiser so getting everything done as soon as possible is the way to go for me.
However, where to start? I guess we are reasonably lucky as we only buy for the kids, our niece and nephew and a handful of others, but that’s still more expensive than sometimes we even realise getting quality thoughtful gifts for those closest to us.
Thankfully Boots has been a massive part of our festive gift buying in the past and will be in the future too with its humongous range of gifts, not to mention their 3 for 2 deal that means for every 2 gifts we buy we get an extra free!
This year I have been shopping online for Christmas gifts for 2 of my closest people, my husband Ollie and my very best friend Stacey and here’s how I got on and what I bought for them.
For my wonderful best friend, I wanted to make sure she knew just how much I love her. She has been through a lot this year and so it means more than ever for me to make sure she knows I think of her often, even if time is not allowing us much time together I wanted her to look at her gifts and know I was there.
The first gift for her is the Toni & Guy Style Fix Night & Day Hair Dryer which is a must for our camping adventures! This year we only managed one camping trip together with the kids but next year I have many more planned in my head and this little beauty will allow her to keep her hair tip top even on the go.
The next gift that I know she will love is the Joules Cake Tins Set. When we first met we were at work and bonded over our love of organising. Gone are the days of organising stationary and office supplies at work. Now we organise our homes and families and with our joint love of cake these super funky cake tins are going to be an absolute winner.
Well, it’s not Christmas if we can’t pamper ourselves just a little bit and thanks to Boots having an extensive range of luxury gifts I found these two sets from Jack Wills specially for Stacey to pamper herself without having to share with anyone else. These scents are beautiful and an ideal size for her handbag or changing bag and won’t take much room up for adventures near or far.
For Ollie this year I had some amazing Christmas gifts for him from Boots. Although the first one might seem like an odd choice I know he is going to be absolutely thrilled!
Last year Joshua got a remote-controlled kids’ helicopter and he was nothing short of a toy stealer as he wouldn’t let anyone else play, so this year I knew I needed to get him his own version. I can honestly see most of the Christmas period being spent playing with this.
Ollie never buys himself toiletries and prefers to be surprised on Christmas and birthdays, so I like to buy him a real range of quality products – and this set from No7 will be an amazing set with some lovely products in for him to try out.
Next on the list for my husband is this super cute Ted Baker Eau De Toilette Collection that smells amazing! These lovely little bottles are ideal for his work locker, camping kit and gym bag or even a holiday and will make a great stocking filler that I know he will love.
I have so many things on my wish list for this Christmas and with a giant list I want from Boots I think Ollie had better start ordering either in store or online.
