Did you know that tomorrow it’s a very special day? Well, it is!
Saturday 9th September is officially National Teddy Bear day and in light of this fact we are thrilled to join forces with the Nations much-loved Teddy bear company, Build A Bear so we can celebrate the magic with the boys and their teddies.
I remember my teddies and I having lots of adventures when I was small and I am sure many of my children’s magic memories will involve their much-loved cuddly pals when they look back on their childhood too.
This week has been a hard one for my boys, as it will have been for so many this week starting back to school after the summer holidays.
Joshua is loving being back but those first few weeks tire him easily and so he tends to be super grumpy. Jacob obviously doesn’t go to school as he is only little but he struggles getting back into the normal school run routine that leaves him craving his brother to play with.
So this week we planned in some family time in the garden with our fluffy friends and the boys to have a mini teddy bears picnic.
Obviously the weather was feeling equally as grumpy and decided to throw it down only minutes after we settled in for bear snacks. However we have spent some of the rest of this week doing bear based activities leading up to the full on celebration we will be having tomorrow with our bears!
In celebration of National Teddy Bear Day this weekend Build A Bear are celebrating in style with Build-A-Bear Workshops today (Friday 8th Sep) and tomorrow (Saturday 9th Sep) and will be offering a limited-edition National Teddy Bear Day Bear for a mere £5.50. Build-A-Bear Workshop will also be offering the Traditional Cocoa Bear online (www.buildabear.co.uk) for just £10.50
So how will you be celebrating National Teddy Bear Day?
