Christmas at the Oliver’s is a really magical time, for me it really is all about getting to spend time together. With a soon to be teen that shortly will not want to be seen dead with the oldies .. yes Ollie we are old now in the tweens eyes. It seems as though this Christmas we were OK to still be around and with new hockey top, hockey stick and a tablet to name just a few things, she didn’t do that badly out of the wrinklies either! … we still have our uses!
Joshua for the first time began to understand some aspects of Christmas such as, presents, water pistols from crackers, decorating biscuits for Santa and taking pictures to remember the occasion, although the beautiful brussell sprout and his deliciousness seems to of eluded him! …. I must try harder!
So here it is, The Oliver’s Christmas 2013:
Don’t get me wrong there were a spattering of tears, sickness bugs (for me), fallings out, funny faces, family, friends and some lovely food but most of all it was ours all ours and I wouldn’t of changed a second ………..
although maybe the sickness bug could of done one ..
