Over the years it would be fair to say shopping for the men folk in my life tends to have me slightly stumped as I genuinely think that they can be harder to buy for, although my husband will probably say that I am harder to please on the gift buying front.
So here are some of my ideas of what I will be buying or planning to buy my husband and family this Christmas.
1, Stylish Focus Weekender Mens Boots
My husband spotted these Hotter Focus Weekender Boots in the store locally when I went to spend my birthday money a few months back and I have to say for the first time in a while I am impressed, these lovely GORE-TEX boots are not only super practical for the winter months they are amazingly stylish too! … And since they are Hotter boots I have no doubt they will be super comfy!
2, Mens Nightwear
I am a massive advocate of getting home and getting straight into comfy PJ’s … up until a few months back Hubs thoughts I was nuts… Till I bought him his first proper pair of Lounge style PJ’s that were super comfy and now he is hooked.
I think the PJ market for men has certainly taken on a more stylish look about it these days and that has helped massively with getting hubster into them … And this festive season there is nothing like getting some new PJ’s and battening down the hatches and watching films!
3, King Of Shaves
For me basic toiletries are one thing but if you can get reasonably priced quality toiletries that’s even better in my book! The King of Shaves products can make great gifts this Christmas with their versatile products that can per used to personally adapt the products to create your own shaving regime, with every skin condition catered for and a whole host of moisturisers and skin care essentials above and beyond just shaving gels
4, Sharpener Desk Tidy
Who says organised has to be boring?! I am a total freak when it comes to organising and much to my husbands disgust I tend to put away everything out of sight and he often can be found rummaging in draws looking for my pencil-case so this Sharpener Desk Tidy from the Fat Buddha Store is an utterly fab gift to compromise with! …In fact I love it so much I wish I had discovered this when I was still office bound as I am sure I would have been the envy of the office!
If you read my blog regularly you will already know we are a family that loves the Wii U system and you will already know that I am somewhat obsessive with the Splatoon game that was released this year when we reviewed it, however this Christmas I love the Wii U bundles that are on offer for those wishing to start their Nintendo Wii U gaming journey. The Mario Kart 8 & Splatoon Wii U Premium pack bundle contains the Mario Kart 8 game pre-installed and Splatoon games download code along with theWii U console.
6, Skin Therapy Male Leatherette Bag Set
I am a massive Wilko fan and over recent years their lines in Christmas gifts have been super quality and yet still super kind on your purse. This Skin Therapy Leatherette Bag set is great value for money at only £5 and its large enough to pack all your essentials into for a weekend away.Their Skin range hosts lots of lovely gift sets so there is bound to be a set for the male recipient in your life!
How about adding high quality to the everyday and investing in the latest sonic tooth brushing technology! Over recent months we have tried using battery operated brushes and loved them, however we can’t seem to replace the heads so will have to take the leap into buying new, so buying a new electric toothbrush certainly sounds like it might be the way forward … after all your teeth need to last a long time so taking good care of them is really important so this Philips Sonicare FlexCare+ Toothbrush sounds fantastic.
8, Next Aftershaves
Both hubs and I are massive lovers of all the perfume and aftershave ranges at Next, they are great value and we feel are often on a par with leading perfume and aftershave brands with the fragrances. The Signature range this is on this gift guide is one that I have purchased for hubs before and we both loved its fresh clean fragrance and its ability to last as opposed to wearing off quickly means for us it’s a great gift! So what do your men folk have on their Christmas list this year? Or do you struggle to buy for the men in your life?Disclaimer: This is a collaborative post
