This week has been rather a monumental one on the fitness front.
This week I took this lazy fat backside out for a workout at the gym.
Yes, that’s right folks I finally plucked up some much-needed courage, packed my lard into some sweatpants and joined some of my school Mum friends at a local gym.
I am not going to lie … it wasn’t pretty, in fact the morning after I was feeling the pain, however I have been so motivated since I went last Monday I have been seen loitering waiting for the gym’s door to open at 7.30am on Wednesday!
I think this week by far has been my busiest week with so much to do and sort and finally trying to get to the bottom of my email pile.
Also last night was the much awaiting for MAD Blog Awards of which I was a finalist in the pregnancy category and so I have been preening with hair and nail appointments and a husband at home for half the week.
I wish I had a magic ball but as I type this I have no idea who won my category as I am about to head of to London shortly and I am scheduling this post to ensure my raging hangover from the awards doesn’t hinder my sharing of this weeks news.
On a more positive note, I have been fairly good this week with only one drop in concentration leading to an afternoon of non counted calories but I am pleased to say it didn’t affect it too drastically …
It may have only been a 1lb loss this week but it’s still an achievement, slow and steady wins the race, or so they say.
My main fear is the free bar for the awards followed by my birthday today.
Cake and meal celebrations are going to be pretty much standard this weekend and I am not going to berate myself for indulging, however I am going to ready to catch myself and get back on it again on Monday.
Maybe next week will hold that elusive 1 stone loss marker for me?! ..
