We invested in a new mattress about 18 months ago … thinking a new mattress is a new mattress right?
Wrong, not sure why we chose the one we did but it arrived and we kind of pretend for a year it was great … well it wasn’t, we just couldn’t bear to admit that spending masses of money was not worth it!
When I was recently contacted by Dormeo to see if we would like to try a new mattress I almost turned it down … why? you may ask … I just couldn’t face another disappointment.
So not listening to myself and in fact to Ollie (hubs) I decided what would be the harm in seeing if it could be better? especially as it claimed a 60 night money back guarantee.
When the mattress arrived I was more than a little shocked … it was so tightly rolled it fitted in a box for delivery! … OK simple things and all that but I loved it!
We unrolled it and were very pleased to see that it was much higher quality than we first thought, the presumption I think that we had made was that since it was packaged in a box that it must be cheap … I am pleased to that was not the case.
It has now been nearly a month of using this mattress and Ollie and I have now permanently ditched the old one in favour of this Dormo one, we found we spent far less time tossing and turning and were really comfortable. My only niggle with this mattress is the depth of it. It doesn’t sit as high as our original and so can be slightly uncomfortable round the edges of the bed frame (but this might be down to our style of bed frame)
We have loved this mattress and also love the fact they are so proud of if there is a 15 year guarantee. For me I have also learnt a massive lesson that the expensive is not always the best!!
Thank you Dormeo for showing me the light with what a quality memory foam mattress can do for a great nights sleep ….. now I am off to hibernate for the winter!
