I love going on holiday with the kids. Just getting some time away, chilling out and forgetting about all the stresses day to day life can bring. It is so nice to take some time away from work and from school and really have a chance to recharge our batteries. We especially love our Mark Warner holidays and I would really like to visit again, perhaps for one of their activity holidays. Joshua loved both of our active holidays with Mark Warner and I know that Jacob would be totally thrilled with everything on offer.
The first holiday we went on with Mark Warner was when we visited the Corsica resort and absolutely loved it. There was some great child care and Joshua got lots os new opportunities from tennis lessons to trips out on kayaks with other toddlers! .. You certainly don’t do that everyday.
I don’t know about you but this cold snap has got me wishing for sunnier climes. I know we were incredibly lucky to have had such a moderate temperature for as long as we have but the quick descent into freezing cold temperatures has had me wishing I was anywhere else but here – have you felt the same? Nothing could beat heading off on holiday with the family at this time of year. I’ve seen people jetting off all over my social media and I can’t help wishing that it was me too!
I’m hoping that over the Christmas holiday period, we may be able to get away for a few days and enjoy some fun activities. When we headed to the San Lucianu resort back in 2013, Joshua enjoyed plenty of activities such as paddling in the sea, swimming, painting, crafting, walking, playing and reading books and it would be nice to find similar activities for the boys to do this year and Ollie and I are determined that next year we are going to get abroad and enjoy the sunshine!
Some holidays I find to not take away any of the stress that I am trying to avoid as you are always trying to find something to do, whether that it is finding an activity for the kids or finding somewhere to eat. That’s why I love Mark Warner holidays as you know exactly what you are getting from them – no hidden horrible surprises. They know exactly what families want from a break – and that’s what you actually get, a break. Here’s hoping I head back to a Mark Warner resort soon.
