My Week That Was – Project 365 Week 10

project 365 wk10WK10This week has been super busy and filled with extremes of excitement and sadness too.

Sunday 3rd March – Beth was at her Dads until tea time, however on getting home she spent some time with Joshua singing Row Row Row Ya Boat, He loved it and I think she did too!

Monday 4th March – Lazy day for Joshua and I and we spent some time having lots of cuddles and taking photos. I love days like this.

Tuesday 5th March – We were sent a fantastic nightlight for us to review and Joshua was so excited he has spent everyday since carrying it around!

Wednesday 6th March – Joshua and I went to York for a Britmums Meetup I was so excited. We set off at just after 7.30am and had to drop Beth at my Mums as she had school then we hit the road. There was terrible fog on the way there but it was certainly worth going as we got to meet some amazing bloggers and I certainly cant wait to do it again! We even traveled on the Park and Ride and loved that too!

Thursday 7th March – Was Grandma Joan’s funeral and Ollie and I were naturally upset. The picture is of the little crystal animals he remembered as a child from visiting Grandma and these little guys are now with the us here at the Madhouse.

Friday 8th March – On our way home on Thursday the car window refused to go back up so we had to wait in for the garage to come out and collect Ollie’s car to fix the window. Meanwhile Joshua decided he was not happy playing with his toys out of the toy box, instead he wanted to play in it!

Saturday 9th March – Today I went out to check out these scarecrow dudes I bought to see if they had made a difference to the car destruction and fouling in the garden, you can read about it HERE. I am pleased to report that I think there might be a slight improvement!

I used to have a crystal mouse..it got lost during a move. Still in a box in the attic I suspect..
I think all kids rather playing with boxes. We bought the grandson a box of megablocks and he emptied them on the floor and sat in the box!

  19. I remember those crystal animals, my great-gran used to collect those and we were always so desperate to play with them. We used to dare each other to sneak them off the mantlepiece and see if she noticed!
