Weaning is hard work, its hard for baby to become accustomed to something other than runny milk and its hard for parents to stop panicking.
Over time however you think you find your rhythm and you find what works for your baby be it spoon fed or baby led, weaning is weaning and no matter which way round any parent does it making sure baby gets the best is always paramount.
My feeding method with all my children has been to follow their lead with finger foods but we still used a fair amount of baby meals from home-made to jar or packet, however halfway through the stage two journey things got boring.
While on holiday last October we discovered For Aisha baby foods, after buying it in a local supermarket for Jacob. The reason I bought the stage 2 pouches was there immensely flavourful offerings!
The For Aisha brand is based on flavour and taste and is totally halal! in the stage 2 range there are 6 core flavours all distinctly different and even some of the more exotic flavours are tasty not hot so when we bought these for Jacob he adored them.
Not so long ago For Aisha went back to their kitchen to conjure up a new stage of foods, stage 3. This is the weaning level we are currently at with Jacob so we were asked if we would try them out and see how he got on.
The 3 flavours in the new stage 3 meals are all just a flavourful as in the stage 2 range with:
All 3 flavours come with an easy to tear open top and are aimed at stage 3 weaning (10+ months) I liked the consistency of these with Jacob as with many baby foods they can be very gloopy and Jacob has been known to hack on them.
There was plenty of pureed food to the ratio of the lumps so it was a pleasure to feed to him.
The proof is in the pudding so to speak on the flavour front as Jacob ate them well and having tasted them.
No more boring baby food when For Aisha is around.
If you wanted to try your little person on the tasty ranges from For Aisha you can purchase them ASDA, Boots, Morrisons, Tesco and whole foods stores.
