This week has seen me despair and start to lose hope at my pre op appointment but I need to refocus.
I can’t get away from the fact the fact I need major reconstructive abdominal surgery, I effectually have no core muscles that work and my back is taking the strain and my insides are now outside my core cavity.
However even though I know my exercise is restricted this has not deterred me from heading back to the gym this week.
What is has done in fact is to allow me to focus on what I missing that I want to go back to once I am fit enough.
I want to find a motivator that can push me and keep me on track.
So knowing I was going to need that supportive push once the operation is completed and my health has improved I asked my local gym if they have any Personal Trainers in-house that would be able to work with me. Unfortunately however my gym doesn’t offer a personal training service so I have taken to online searching.
From past experience of having a personal trainer (that I shared with another persons a few session a week) I know that being able to know how to motivate and push in the right direction is really important. My ego and confidence are on the floor and the wrong push just my break my resolve to keep on track.
I also have the added complication of trying to find someone who trained and has enough experience to know not to push my broken body too far either!
Sometimes living in the Midlands can make finding things that little bit harder, after all if I lived in the capital there is the London Personal Training Company that would be ideal, even more so if I was looking for East London Personal Trainers! …
However in this neck of the woods it seems I am limited so far and it looks like the search will have to continue!
I am never going to be muscle queen but I do want some help to rebuild my broken body and be healthy.
