OK so those of you that know me in real life will know I have a slight cleaning obsession so when I was recently sent out the Spontex Full Action System mop to review I was excited .. yes really
I have a love hate relationship with mops and so with my floor in need of a good fettling it was time to give the Full Action System a trial run!
When the mop arrived I was expecting it to be much bigger so it was a bonus to find it was more compact than I thought.
It has a 360 degree self-wringing system which was by far more fun than I think it should have been … there is something therapeutic about spinning this mop … that and the fact when you wring it out it obviously dries quicker too.
The mop itself has fringe of microfibres that are really absorbent round the edges and the soft microfibre pad in the middle which makes the mop glide over the floor!
While using the mop I was impressed with the sides of the mop bucket that seem to make sure it doesn’t fling water across the kitchen .. Which in fairness is perhaps a super job as I adore connecting the mop to the centre point and wringing it out! (perhaps more so than I ought to!)
I also really liked the fact that when wet it can be used on all types of floors including tiles, laminate and wood … however I only have lino and tiles and so we have only tested it on these surfaces and to top it off in my bonus book is the fact the mop head is machine washable so its win win!
Overall I have loved this mop, however make sure you don’t show your little person how the wringer action works it will only end in tears when its time for the mop bucket to go away!
