Well that’s it as the days pass towards this festive season I am already thinking about what this year meant for me and for us for my family, for what has been achieved and for what has yet to be accomplished.
This year we have had a really fantastic year, with some amazing family time from days out to our family holiday and not to mention pushing myself out of my comfort zone when I competed my stretch of the Team Honk bloggers relay for charity .. that left me physically broken but yet emotionally elated.
From a blogging prospective I have the most amazing year, The Oliver’s Madhouse was short listed as a finalist for a Brilliance in Blogging award in the family category back in June. I have been an ambassador for some fantastic Companies and brands, and to top it off this year I have just launched my new food and interiors style site .. notTHATJaimeOliver.com … who would have guessed that when I wrote my first blog post It would have developed like this.
In fact this year we have had some amazingly difficult times too with, some teenage hormones, toddlers not sleeping, missing my husband and lacking in quality time but in the grand scheme of things we have come out the other side as one unit, a little bruised but I for one am more determined than ever to be there for my family.
In fact although I can’t predict the future we are hoping that the coming year will see me shed some of the extra weight in favour of baby weight instead .. but that’s just a maybe.
How about what will happen for us this year? – well I know that for certain that this coming year will be the year we spend more time together. We will work on getting fit and healthy and most of all we are going to grab every opportunity we can and I for one am very excited at what 2015 has to offer.
