I am not sure where the time is going this year it seems every time I blink there has been another week fly by. With the weeks flying it seems that there really hasn’t been enough hours in the day and I am playing catch up and often not getting to bed till the early hours.
There have been some major downers for us too these last few weeks especially with Bethany’s behaviour, however I am not going to dwell on these right now and will in time no doubt blog about it. So I thought in order to keep my sanity it would a great idea to look back over the last few speedy weeks and take a look at the happy positive times that occurred and that time that have made me smile.
First off there has to be Britmums Live – WOW this was a fantastically immense experience for me and one that has increased my confidence no end, so if you are thinking of going next year I can highly recommend!
I was so very lucky and won a competition by Mark Warner who invited 10 bloggers to try and raise awareness about keeping active and healthy as a family by the means of weekly blog posts. This is were I set up my Active Family linky to keep me motivated to keep up with our activity both individually and as a family especially while I am on an ongoing weight loss journey. Our prize for the competition was a holiday at San Lucianu Beach Resort in Corsica we are off in a couple of weeks!
There has also been a major realisation occur for me as a parent as my little man Joshua progressed into his big boy bed (toddler bed) from his cot. I have to say although this was a fantastic moment it also made me sad that Joshua’s baby days are over.
The weather has also played a massive part in being busy and we have spent a lot of our time in the garden with a toddler with ever increasing toddlerisms!
So here to the good the bad and the ugly …
