Since baby Jacobs birth in February and my subsequent ill-health I have proactively started to make changes to our eating and lifestyle choices for my family as a whole and so finding products and brands that support us in a more healthier lifestyle is always something to cheer about.
As a child I loved nothing more than peanut butter sandwich and even on toast but over the years I had wrongly presumed it was swimming in fat and not good for you, however I couldn’t be more wrong!
Over the last few months I had my eyes opened to just how healthy this protein packed jar actually is with its higher level of ‘good’ fats and it bursting with not only protein but also potassium, fibre and even magnesium!
So since returning to the gym this last couple of months I have found a new partner in protein packed crime with Sun-Pat Peanut Butter and love nothing more than some on toast after my gym sessions for my lunch.
We have even loved incorporating it into our other meals too. Ollie’s favourite is a healthy Thai Chicken Satay With Spicy Peanut Sauce that is great and I love the wonderful Kate from Striking Mum’s Blueberry and peanut butter smoothie too!
Sun-Pat has recently launched the “Fuel Your Dreams campaign” which I think is super, the campaign is all about having enough energy to follow your dreams and for me that means having enough energy to go to the gym and make healthy choices so I can loose weight and become healthier all round so that I can play with my kids more. If you had asked me the same question at 12 I would have said a bus driver!
My dream for my children is that they will all live long, healthy and happy lives, I know it’s not exciting but its real and with Sun-Pat’s recent research showing that four out of five people with an active childhood achieved their dreams … if Sun-Pat can help keep my littles moving then I am all for it!
Obviously winning the lottery would also count as a dream … but that’s just a total dream as we don’t even play!
During the Sun-Pat Fuel Your Dreams campaign that runs until 17th November Sun-Pat are offering two people the chance to experience their dreams for a day alongside Olympic hero Adam Peaty or presenter Helen Skelton, with eight runner-up prizes of a year’s supply of delicious Sun-Pat Peanut Butter and a £1,000 donation to a local group of their choice to ensure our future stars are prepared to achieve their own dreams.
To enter, simply click on the Sun-Pat image below and to tell them what you’ve always dreamed of doing. It could be anything from becoming a pilot to winning your own gold medal. You can even share a photo to support your entry!
