Britmums Live has historically been one of my most favourite blogging conferences in previous years the 2 day event stole my heart with 2 jam-packed days of bloggers by the bucketful and so many brands that you couldn’t turn round for seeing one but last year I found it really difficult.
At last years Britmums Live I was sick as a dog and pregnant … but not the lets tell everyone one I am pregnant kind of pregnant.
Hiding your nausea in a building full of people is super hard work so loved it but did struggle to take in as much as I wanted to.
Needless to say this year I have been epically excited to attend the conference and feel that motivation and positivity oozing out of every blogger … however without the help of a Sponsor there was no way I could attend this now one day event.
Just over a month ago I realised I had yet to organise myself and was lacking on the sponsor front and did for a while think that I wouldn’t be able to attend the event at all.
However I have been so very lucky as the kind folk over at Canvas Holidays stepped into the breech and rescued me and to tell you the truth I am thrilled and honoured that this lovely family friendly brand is supporting my attendance.
Some of you might already know if you attended the conference BlogOn in Manchester earlier in the year and I was randomly selected to win a holiday that Canvas Holidays were giving away.
(and yes that was sick from Jacob who is a Reflux baby … they do say never work with kids or animals though ah?!)
Since then we have spent many hours researching about their holidays and are super thrilled to be able to book ours in a couple of weeks for next year from my prize win …. Although each time we think we know where we look again and keep changing our minds.
So this year I am looking forward to taking in as many workshops as I can and will be generally soaking up as much of the inspiring atmosphere as possible.
Being based at home blogging can be very isolating and let’s be honest there is only so many times you can remind friends and family that products for review are not ‘freebies’ and the bunch of people here today get that without me having to explain the basics of review products and the work that is involved in carrying out one.
This year I am looking forward to growing in my knowledge in this highly addictive pastime and also in myself as I leave my little folks and husband at home and set out for my 4th Britmums Live Conference.
If you are reading this and are attending please do say hello if you see me.
