This monthly update seems to have snook up on me, I really seems to have blinked and missed the last month.
Jacob is more and more the toddler and less a baby although I always think that the age between 1-2 is like limbo land really. No longer a baby and not quite a toddler.
Jacob seems to be living on excitement this month and has developed a fake laugh, a jaunty little run and everything he does is fast. He chatters fast and loudly, although we have yet to get many words that are understandable. He also loves nothing more than racing you to the remote control, the door and his brother’s school tie, oh and don’t get me started with racing to the highchair at the mention of food!
So while we are at it food has been a bigger love than normal for Jacob as he has finally come into his own. He will tackle anything. He still loves his toddler meals but he certainly prefers to serve himself and preferably eat our meals after finishing his first meal… he is like a bottomless pit that never seems to fill.
Jacob is also a complete contrast to his brother where being outside is concerned. Joshua needs cajoling to be outside in the fresh air. Jacob on the other hand is an absolute fresh air freak and would love nothing more than be outside 24 hours a day.
He is also a massive water baby too and even the garden sprinkler doesn’t dampen his love of the water or being outside.
This month his personality and caring side has started to show through with this love of his brother, his toys, although not really with me as he has developed a new reflex with me and that’s to smack! … Admittedly it’s rather soul-destroying but I am hoping he is going to find something new to do this month.
Teeth wise this month I have given up checking … he bites and not just a little bit either … I know there has been some further sprouting in there I noticed when I am brushing but getting to fully count is no longer and option.
I wonder what next month will bring.
