Well, thats it, this month has finally yielded a fully fledged walking Jacob.
Just a week after this 13 month update Jacob took his steps away from his trucks, trollies and walkers and set of for his life on two feet all on his own.
There has honestly been no stopping him, he has loved finding his independence and loves nothing more than escaping outside on two feet too as he tackled the local park for the very first time with more than just a swing to discover.
Eating this month has become somewhat more painful than normal as he has stubbornly refused to eat unless he does it himself leaving lunchtimes and teatimes taking an age to complete but he is finally starting to get to grips with a spoon and is now getting more in his mouth than down his front which is a bonus.
Teeth count we are on 11 fully through and one still forcing its way through so we are still getting some grizzle from him its mainly at bedtime which can be a little stressful.
Jacob this month has developed a cheekiness like no other, he seeks out your facial expressions and loves nothing more than making you laugh and once he finds something that does make you laugh he will spend an age repeating it in the hopes you keep laughing.
This month like no other before it we have seen a new side to Jacob and the character he is becoming is comical with a heart of gold as he dishes out his little kisses randomly to anyone that sits still long enough for him.
The next biggest step for Jacob this month has been getting rid of the baby milk, he has been a little reluctant to drop the formula in his remaining two bottles (bedtime and breakfast) but finally its cows milk all the way for him.
I think this is has been one of the biggest months for Jacob and for us discovering who this new little walking tot is!
