Toddler Jacob is in full flow and so much seems to have happened in the last month.
Finally his speech seems to have exploded and he is now keener than ever finally start using his much hidden words.
Being able to communicate better seems to have helped with having less meltdowns recently too.
Jacob has been even more determined to play with his older brother Joshua too. Our only stumbling block has been trying to explain to Joshua who is nearly 7 that Jacob isn’t big enough to play the games he wants him to play.
Sleep seems to have completely level out again and he is back to sleeping fully through the night. I am hoping this is going to stay the same once we move him into his new bedroom later this month as we have swapped the office and his room to give him more space.
Eating has also taken on a more positive take too as he is trying much more foods and we are now able to take him out to eat without him wanting to chuck the contents of his dinner on the floor for fun. Don’t get me wrong he is not perfect but he is so much better than he was and certainly far less embarrassing.
Next week will be our biggest of milestones as he heads of to nursery for 2 days a week. Up to this point I have been working full-time with Jacob being at home and having to work into the night or round Ollie being at home and its been such hard work for both of us.
I am hoping that him being at nursery for a couple of days a week will help me balance out work and home and allow me to have some more guaranteed fun times with him when he is at home.
Next month my littlest man will be turning 2 and I can’t believe how quickly it has flown.
