As some of you will already know, Ollie and I eloped to get married with just the kids in tow and not a word said to anyone. We eloped to Whitby and had the most amazing time, if you like you can read about it HERE.
Now obviously with not telling a sole about getting married we were unable to have any type of hen/stag party before we got married so once the cat was out of the bag and we had finally tied the knot, questions started cropping up regarding a post wedding hen do.
Now not being a massive drinker nor very excited about being the centre of attention the idea of a Hen party terrified me. Then some of lovely friends came up with a good idea of starting out at mine for a few drinks and some food before going into Nottingham for a bit of a dance.
I really did have the most fantastic time, my lovely friends are great and they made my night! Although you are not forgiven any of you for the drunken stag sitting his naked bottom on my knee ……… gross! (it was so awful that I deleted the picture!!)
I love the idea of a post wedding hen do….wonder if you can acceptably have one after nine years!? x

lol, I love these pictures. One of the first posts I ever read of yours featured the top hats picture and I loved it, it is brilliantly funny. I love the fact that you didn’t do anything the conventional way, it so just wouldn’t be you (I mean that as a compliment)

We did and it was so not the ‘normal’ no strippers, no stress, not fighting and falling out and no grumpy drunk arguments! .. it was great just to have a dance and a laugh x

Love that you had a post wedding hen night and did exactly what you wanted to do. I always say everyone MUST have a hen night even if that means getting together with friends to watch a film or just eat cake, whatever they fancy but its a good excuse to have a nice time with friends.
