A few weeks ago I was super privileged to try out the new JML Nutri Blitzer on its launch and initially I had thought it would be like any other kitchen gadget, super for the first week and then hidden in the cupboard after that, so needless to say I was probably not going to be the gadget loving fiend that would love it.
However currently being pregnant and knowing even before my pregnancy I had struggled to increase my intake of fruit and vegetables I was really interested to see if this gadget would help or not.
In the past I had tried several smoothie/blender type items and in fairness I had pretty much given up with them, with gloopy mush being the outcome and 3 days of cleaning a million parts before being able to use it again but I am super pleased that this was not the case for the Nutri Blitzer, its super easy to dismantle and actually after pulverizing there is only one blade and one container that is needed … However the product does come with several other pieces that are a nice to use such as the extra cups, resealable lids and the option of the alternative blade meaning nothing is out-of-bounds for blitzing!
The Nutri Blitzer comes in 3 colour options, Green, Berry and Black and I loved the lime green personally as it certainly looks super funky sat on my workshop (see no putting it away in the draw and forgetting it!)
So just what is it that changed my opinion on what to expect from this machine (other than the easy cleaning and super easy use) …
It really did do what it said it would do … it smashed, pulverized its way through everything we have thrown at it, we have left apple peel and pips, rinds and skins on almost all of our fruits and veg! … I was super impressed at the way it tackled ice too as I am a massive ice adder and being able to add it and having the Nutri Blitzer smash it up 100% into the smoothies was fantastic!
It was super quick with its bayonet type fitting blitzing anything was only a few seconds and with no extra switches on the machine it was really easy to wipe down … although over filling the max will make mess … if you don’t overfill you don’t get mess (lesson learnt) only put your ingredients to the MAX mark as when it spins it needs the space to blitz!
We have loved the Nutri Blitzer, far more than I initially gave it credit for and although there are some amazing ideas with the recipe book (over 160) I have also loved going off on my own tangent and making my own based on our own flavours
Thanks Nutri Blitzer for allowing me to try, we have loved having you so far and can’t wait to see what Christmas concoctions I can create … and when baby is born what alcoholic versions I might just come up with?!
