I think right about now the Honey Monster will be feeling rather proud, not only has he been and continues to be an epic favourite in my household he is making changes to his breakfast cereal to make what was Sugar Puffs now becomes Honey Monster Puffs! …
Now with 20% more honey and less overall sugar than the previous recipe without effecting the taste we were excited to find out we could sample these sooner than we thought!
On Sunday we headed off to The Victoria Centre shopping centre nearby and got to finally get to meet the Honey Monster himself in the fur! and it seems my love of this iconic fluff ball has now rubbed off on my son too!
If you, like us are fans of the yellow fella you may just find that he is coming to your area, with confirmed dates below and maybe more later in the year!
7/2 Oxford – 8/2 Milton Keynes – 14/2 Leicester – 15/2 Peterborough – 21/2 Gloucester – 22/2 Worcester – 28/2 Dudley – 1/3 Birmingham
I have to say we had a lovely meeting and with some samples of Honey Monster Puffs it was time to try out the new recipe for ourselves …. and do you know what, they are still just as tasty to me as they were before … bonus!
I think with a balanced diet these Honey Monster Puffs will be making an appearance for many more breakfasts to come in this house and I am sure in many others too with clearer nutritional information to be able to make healthier choices and build a balanced diet and with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and being low in fat and salt.
My only sadness about this Sunday and meeting the yellow fella was that I wasn’t brave enough to get a hug and kiss from the Honey Monster myself … or even a high-five come to that …
So if you do get to see him please do send him a kiss from me … and make sure you try the new Honey Monster Puffs for yourself too!
