Now after my recent post feeling very down after my weight gain after a 4.5 stone loss caused by giving up smoking and my inability to stop eating everything in sight!
I have decided to be more positive and look at what I would like to have/borrow/hire/visit in which to help me achieve boosting my confidence and picking myself back up and getting back on a positive weight loss journey for 2014.
Now still being classed as morbidly obese on a tiny 5ft frame this is not a journey that is going to be easy but I need to do this not only for my health but also for a chance at maybe another child at a later date.
Some of you will know that at the moment I am waiting for my surgery date to come through for my Adhesions from my section scar from my second delivery but I really want to make a difference to my own chances of recuperating quickly from surgery by loosing as much as I can before the surgery date itself.
Now for those that followed my progress to date will know that I reviewed the amazing Diet Chef a few months ago and in 4 weeks I lost an amazing 12.9lbs in weight and 11.5 inches overall.
However after then deciding to give up smoking only a few weeks later I put it back on and more besides. Given half a chance I would love to go back on this diet for a 3 months duration and to see what could really be achieved with this programme.
So with Diet Chef being out of my financial grasp right now, I have decided I need to think about investing in some more exercise kit/clothings as most of current stuff either no longer fits or is beginning to become holey and that’s never a good look in Lycra! …. ever!
First on my wishlist has to be 2 new sports bras, I was super lucky to review one from Figleaves range a long while ago now, but being used 3 times a week for 12 months its really needs to be replaced, it has served me well but I now have my eye on this beauty that comes in 9 colour variations!
I think just for convenience this time I would purchase 2 so I am not washing and wearing, washing and wearing … it would be so much easier for me that way … plus I could get 2 different colours.
Now talking of the essentials, last season and this season playing hockey have had both shin splints and tares. Although tearing my calf muscles I have to say has been the most painful thing ever! now since I have done this 3 times in the last 18 months I really do need to invest in some shin/calf supports to try and stop me from doing this again as each time leads to 6-8 of pain and inability to move properly. I have fallen in love with these 2, although the Velcro version is by far my fave though as its more fitted to me personally and helps with both calf and shin splints so win win!
Now being of the small stature, well in height at least I often struggle with finding exercise/hockey kit that will fit and is functional too so I have some Christmas money and I am not afraid to use it in purchasing some new tracksuit bottoms for hockey training (These Ones) and since I am hoping to return to the gym now that the hours are sorted for Joshua’s nursery and that fits in with the opening hours at my local gym I will need some new bottom halves to exercise in (Like These)
So after a really depressing post about my weight loss journey I am now feeling more invigorated and positive about the mammoth journey that is in front of me, all is not lost though and tomorrow we are off out on our bikes to make a start on the changes for 2014.
I am linking up with the lovely Carolin from Mummy Alarm with her Wednesday Wishlist
