When Joshua was a little fella the reds and greens were his colours, they were often colours I naturally picked when faced with a decision on colours but this time round I have veered on the side of blue.
Although I am not naturally a gender typical clothes picker, 16 years ago with Beth I loved nothing more than baby pink cardigans, pink dresses and anything else I could pack into her wardrobe that was pink was a go to.
Then with the ten-year gap between my daughter and the boys, more gender neutral clothing and colours have been something I have really liked.
However with our holiday coming up on the horizon I am already looking at outfits for the boys to start getting organised and for me this Spring/Summer I am loving the nautical themes, stripes, denim and blues for Jacobs wardrobe and most of all I am loving buying key pieces that I can mix and match with each other to create lots of different outfits from those set key pieces.
A recent love of mine is boys cardigans and some of the spring lines on Mayoral make for some of my favourites. I love cardigans and hoodies that are reversible giving 2 different looks for 2 different outfits.
So here are some of my top picks for nautical stripes and blues for my little fella this year:
I love money-saving multipacks and these multipack t-shirts are a prime example of some of my faves, add in the reversible hoodie and the range of shorts and any of these items combined would make for a super stylish combo for your little fella.
My favourite footwear this season is the lightweight trainer and then the covered toe sandal, especially as Jacob is just starting to walk so his toe ends will need protecting!
I would love to hear what are on your littles lists for their spring and summer wardrobes …
