Some of my regular readers know that I am
massively a little OCD about my travelling, I think it has something to do with my OCD tendencies and a lot to do with the fact I am a rubbish traveler.
Now up until a year ago I always thought that I would never make much of a traveller but as each trip goes by I am feeling more confident and when I was recently introduced to Amadeus.net I was really excited as this is no ordinary site.
The BETA site for this company is showing some really clever tools already to make planning any kind of trip easy, with some essential tools I think any site should have such a the ability to search on price, this site also has the ability for natural language searches (how clever is that!)
It is also going to allow for all users to look at booking not only what is in their budget but by time and service provider too ultimately making the searcher the one in control of what they will then go and book (you can’t purchase directly from the site)
So how does it work?
To start its super easy all you need to do is pick where you want to go and some idea of when.
and the site does the rest locating the cheapest for you and then showing you flexible options in the ‘indicative prices’ so if you are flexible you can see where you would save money.
It gives you the option of who you want to fly with, when and the times along with the ability to save your favourite plans that you can choose to either keep private, share with select people (adding in their emails) or to make it public for everyone to see.
I chose 2 plans from trips I would love to make one being Miami in May and another for Paris at Christmas both of which got me quite addicted to playing with this site, anything that means I can plan and save money has my vote.
What I like about the site is that its simple to use and over time its going to include more and more features to organise every aspect of your trip! …
For now though I am going to carry on getting addicted to planning travel ideas (its like the Pinterest of holiday planning!)
So with the help of my trusty readers why don’t you broaden my horizons by popping over to plan your trip with Amadeaus.net and pop back and tell me what plan you built so I can put it on my list of place to go too …
