A varied and strange week for The Oliver’s … I am not coping well without the routine of school, I use the school day to organise my day and now I am beginning to resemble a gibbering wreck … how many more weeks left?? … in fact don’t tell me!
Saturday 10th August – With all but Bethany’s new school uniform except her boots we celebrated with a Toby Carvery … Shopping with the Tween in the past has resulted in serious meltdowns so this was progress.
Sunday 11th August – We took a family trip to Newstead Abbey and found a special 999 event there too!
Monday 12th August – We had a lazy day and lots of morning snuggles, main due to the fact Joshua decided at 6 am that he was wanting to get out of his bed and into ours!
Tuesday 13th August – In between heavy rain showers Joshua decided to water the plants and did a jolly fine job.
Wednesday 14th August – Joshua first session at Nursery where I left him on his own, I had very mixed feelings on this but will blog about it more next week. In the afternoon we met up with the lovely Joy from Pinkoddy for a trip out to Aston Hall near Birmingham and it was a really great day out and so lovely to spend some time with Joy and her lovely boys.
Friday 16th August – Another short solo stint at nursery in the morning which meant I could pop with Beth and look for a new bike for me as mine is poorly! Then balancing on ones sister was the play activity of choice for the afternoon!
So that was our week in brief.
