I am so pleased the school holidays are coming to an end! I love my children dearly however I do not function well without the routine school brings and If I am honest I fear my children don’t either!
Saturday 24th August – Today we popped over to the bike shop to collect my new bike only to arrive home and find the toddler seat bracket didn’t fit it!! .. back to the bike shop with new bike, bracket and toddler seat for them to get it custom fit (chop bits out and change things on my bike!) – never one to feel left out Joshua was found with my camera doing selfies!
Sunday 25th August – Warner Bros Harry Potter Tour ….. WOW!! we were asked to go and visit and do a review and with Beth and I being MASSIVE Harry Potter fans we jumped at the chance! .. watch out for the review this coming week!
Monday 26th August – Bank holiday Monday and I spent the whole day on the sofa I developed a really nasty, nose running, eyes streaming, headache, ear ache, chest type infection ……. I can’t remember the last time I felt so poorly! Without me to entertain him and Daddy picking up the slack doing the jobs I was supposed to be doing. Joshua entertained himself in the garden with my pegs!!
Tuesday 27th August – Another poorly day for me so Joshua went off with Grandma and Grandad Oliver while Beth stayed to help me and do some jobs, however once Joshua was back from Grandma and Grandad’s Beth played hairdressers!
Wednesday 28th August – The ONLY day from the holidays that both Children were not winding each other up and in fact played beautifully ……Thanks Beth
Thursday 29th August – A delivery arrived today with Beth’s beautiful new school boots and she loved them!! ….. phew. So we had to pop to alteration shop to have her trouser legs taken up a little. I don’t normally wait till the last-minute but it took her a while to choose her boots.
Friday 30th August – As my exhaustion lifted it seems that Joshua’s week of full on play wiped him out! while gave me time to paint my nails ready for a meal out with some local bloggers.
