It’s no secret here at The Oliver’s Madhouse we adore Transformers.
Ollie and I loved them as children and now I am reliving my childhood love with my son who has also developed a love of these fab Characters.
A little while back Joshua was luck enough to review another of Hasbro’s Transformer options in the Power Serge Optimus Prime which he loved so in light of the new film being released on the 24th June the newest characters are based on this the 5th film, the Last Knight.
Recently we have been privileged to be able to test out the newest Transformer characters from Hasbro, Knight Armour Turbo Changer Optimus Prime, The Last Knight Turbo Changer Bumblebee and The Last Knight 1-Step Turbo Changer Autobot Hound.
What I loved about these new toys is the fact they are designed to change with minimal steps so even me and my untechnical mind managed to change them the first time!
The Turbo Charger Optimus Prime is the biggest of the 3, standing at 20cms tall. This Optimus Prime figure has some fantastic features with eye-catching detailing wand comes with a hidden Cyberfire symbols that can be revealed using the Mega 1-Step Turbo Changer Dragonstorm figure.
Joshua loved how quickly he was able to make the change from one to the other and it made winning the battle so much easier with that super quick ability to change so I am told… by Jacob aged 6.
The smaller 2 figures, The Last Knight Turbo Changer Bumblebee and The Last Knight 1-Step Turbo Changer Autobot Hound were Joshua’s favourites and I think that in part is down to the detailing with facial features and equipment detailing so good that I can see how Joshua can get lured into the world of adventure and play with them.
I think these are lovely products to add into the range they are great for small hands and even better that they are not complicated to transition from robot to vehicle.
Watch out for these hitting their shelves as I think they will certainly be well accepted for little folks with the great price of them too.
