Once upon a time there was a crazy busy mad house who just didn’t seem to have enough hours in the day.
The family members at the crazy busy Mad House were always trying to spend as much time together as possible even on the busiest days, which was not always as easy as it should be.
However along with the day-to-day chores the crazy family discovered from early on that reading could be a great way to interact, learn and squeeze in quality time, even when time was not in abundance.
Reading is one of the life skills that is very important in our eyes, without the ability to read learning can become harder work than it needs to be and the ability to read can also help to focus and relax too.
Last week I introduced you to the wonderful campaign by Bassetts Vitamins’ called Family Life with More Colour (#lifewithmorecolour) thats is aiming to support real life in all its colour which really emanated with me and I even offered up our truth about families post.
As a family we are not perfect, we are not better or worse than anyone else but what we are is real. We don’t always eat well or even sleep well but we do actively try and being fit and healthy is paramount to keep the cogs turning in this mad house.
We also love nothing more than going screen free with more imaginative and creative past times, including reading, swimming and getting out in the fresh air but what I do love is knowing that Bassetts Vitamins supports my family in its happy and colourful lifestyle no matter what we choose to do.
Bassetts Vitamins has a nutritionally-balanced chewy supplement for every member of the family, from children through to adults that contain only natural flavours and colours with no added sugar and even come in a liquid form for 6 month old Jacob so my fears last week about ensuring he gets the nutrients he needs while weaning have now been quashed.
This next week is packed from morning till night with activities, days out and of course some reading so we will certainly be living by the hashtag #lifewithmorecolour !
How are you spending the next week, are you going to be living life with more colour too?
