Thank you craft items, and more importantly thank you Bostik and Craft Merrily .. you have saved my bacon over the last few days.
We had officially hit the holiday meltdowns and with the family spread to the four corners of the house it was time to do something together.
We are still on our learning curve with crafts and after the super package arrived this month containing a really large range of products from Craft Merrily and some material glue from Bostik we had never tried working with before we were looking forward to having a go with it.
So this week our masterpieces may not have been a beautifully constructed as some would manage but I have a teen, a toddler and a hubby that have more than had fun with making 3 things … a personalised bag, pen pot and some Fimo beads for threading.
Having lots of choice Joshua decided on his own pieces he want to add from the selection sent, and then Daddy helped him to stick on the adhesive foam and felt items! … This new bag is the new library bag (the one that is taken each time that Joshua carries himself)
Next came the pen pot and the teen .. with a little help from the toddler! …
Firstly she took a plain cardboard pen pot and covered it with the beautiful striped fabric and then added Joshua & Beth across it along with some fab foam shapes in patterns.
I have to say it was probably the quietest afternoons we have had so far this summer holidays.
Not to be outdone by all the fun I discovered in our supplies some Fimo which I had never heard of but after reading the instructions I made some really simple beads for Joshua to practice his threading with. I have to also admit to saying this stuff could very easily become my addiction!
