If you know me in person you will know I am totally obsessed with Christmas and pretty much think about and plan for it all year round.
As part of my organised excitement I like to get most of my Christmas Gifts throughout the year although I know I am somewhat of an oddity as most of my family and friends are last-minute shoppers.
This year however I have decided to share with you my Christmas gift ideas earlier than previous years after all with Black Friday on the horizon you might be able to bag yourself a bargain by buying earlier!
The products below are some of my all time top picks for women this year. Some products I have bought myself this year and loved and some have been trying out or reviewed and think others would love them as much as I do.
Olverum Bath Oil – £53.00
Nothing says Christmas like decadent luxury bit of pampering and if you are wanting something to pamper yourself at home then this is the product for you.
The Olverum Bath Oil 25 mL bottle give you enough for 50 baths and the 125mls is enough for 25 baths (£29.00) and each concentrated drop is packed with an aromatic blend of essential oils designed to destress and relax tensions in both body and mind.
I loved the fact that you only need a little amount to make a big difference in a bath. I found it left my skin feeling soft without any greasy feeling after both on my skin and my bath and it smells divine.
Acer Iconia One 10.1″ 32GB Wifi Tablet – £179
For me the next thing on the list of possible Christmas gifts is a new tablet. The Acer Iconia One 10.1″ 32GB Wifi Tablet from AO is a great all round android table with a large screen and easy to use features.
It can hold 800 apps and comes with a 9 hour battery life to keep you online longer. Great for that online viewing of boxsets and film streaming!
Dairy Diary & Mums Luxury Diary – From £8.50 upwards
The Dairy Diary is an iconic diary that I must admit has been part of my childhood and adulthood throughout. I first remember the Dairy Dairy when I was in primary school some 30ish years ago as my mum had one each year. I remember her also making several dishes from her dairy diary recipes from the diaries too!
If you haven’t heard of the Dairy Diary before it is packed with budgeting tips, conversion charts, reminders and weekly recipes and wonderfully illustrated week to view. The Dairy Diary 2018 is on sale for £8.50.
From the makers of the Dairy Diary the Luxury Dairy has some similar features to the dairy diary but includes some more specific features too to running a busy household too like a 2018 weekly schedule, birthday gift records, special bake ideas, metric conversions and weekly schedules to plan your children’s activities through the school year plus essential children’s contacts
Braun Silk-épil 9 SkinSpa – £179.99
For me I love discovering products where less is more. Less cost on buying multiple items and investment in one doing several things and the Braun Silk-épil 9 SkinSpa does just that with 5 treatment options in 1 device.
It has a deep exfoliation brush that uses sonic exfoliation technology, it has MicroGrip Technology to remove hair as short as a grain of sand. The Gentle exfoliation brush refines the skin and with its deep massage pad stimulating the circulation in the face and body to improve the skins, tone and texture. To finish off this nifty little gadget also offers a shaver head for those sensitive zones.
Crocs Wellies & Slippers
We have been massive fans of Crocs as a brand for a number of years and so this Christmas it goes without saying that sharing my favourites for winter was going to be a must.
First of the bat are the new Women’s Crocs Freesail Chelsea Boot (£39.99) which means for the first time ever I can finally fit into wellies! Having wide calves often means that normal welly boots dont fit but these beauties have an elasticated panel meaning I can easily get them on and off and with the navy the patterned elastics on the sides are super funky too.
For me the final pick from crocs make Christmas. After all it wouldn’t be Christmas without some new slippers. The Classic slippers are very lightweight but super comfy too and retail at £24.99
Esthederm & Bioderma Products
I find that sometimes skin care products can be out of my normal budget range most months but Christmas I like to give my skin some love and I have been testing some Esthederm and Bioderma products that have been helping me regain control of my face by giving my skin some much-needed love.
The daily products I have been looking are the Bioderma Sébium Pore refiner that helps tackle prominent pores and tightens them which is wonderful and the pore refiners retails at around £15.10 so doesn’t break the bank as you only need a little amount.
The second product I have been using and love from Bioderma is the Sensibio H2O (£10.80) micellar water which has to be my favourite cleanser. its refreshing and non drying and is a great base for any skincare routine.
The final of my favourite products is a little more expensive at £49.50 is a Hyaluronic Acid face serum from Esthederm which is amazing.
You only need a little amount each time as it really does go a long way and once it has soaked in I found it gave the feel of just having had a professional facial as it left my skin super soft and silky.
Ridgeback Bike – Tradition – £399
I had the pleasure of attending an event in the summer with Ridgback bikes where the boys were introduced to their children ranges and Jacob got his first ever jaunt on a balance bike.
While at the event I fell in love.
With Ridgebacks Tradition bike in mint green.
I am already planning my weight loss journey for next year and family bike riding is certainly on the cards. However I am now hankering after this beauty to come with me on my adventures.
If this isn’t your cup of tea and fancy the idea of a bike Ridgeback do several styles for women, men and kids too.
Luxury Spa Day/Break
I am a massive convert to taking the time out for a bit of self care and 2 years ago I discovered spa time! With morning, afternoon, evening and even overnight stays on offer at the newest luxury spa hotel near me. Ye Old Bell Hotel in Barnby Moor, Retford, Nottinghamshire is right up my street for some down time from the kids and family life and some pampering to de stress. Watch this space as I will be visiting before Christmas to give it a road test.
Well, Gin had to feature somewhere on here didn’t it! I discovered my love go Gin this year after removing the tonic (vile stuff) I am now on a mission to try many gins, not all at once obviously, no one can take that sort of hangover without emergency treatment at hospital.
However I have just bought myself this beauty! Blogger Gin is created by the wonderful Tanya Barrow who herself is a blogger like me. However T has been devising this concoction with some serious gin know from the Gin Parlor and has crafted with cardamom, juniper, pepper and lemon peel and I can’t wait for my bottle to arrive.
There are limited stocks available for this one and it retails at £35.95 for 70l. You can find some further information on Blogger Gin’s website.
So if you could pick one thing to add to my list what would it be this year?
