Although we are lucky and don’t suffer with Asthma I have a close friend who’s child who suffers quite severely with the condition and when she was first diagnosed I will be the first to admit that I was fairly oblivious to what the condition is and how to control and manage its symptoms, however over the years I have realised just how debilitating this can be if your child suffers with acute Asthma.
Here in the UK Asthma unfortunately is quite common and many children suffer with it, however a large amount will grow our of the condition in later years.
The condition itself effects the small tubes, called bronchi of the lungs and these in an Asthma sufferer tend to be far more sensitive than someone without the condition and so in large anything airborne can trigger an Asthma attack.
So for a parent who has a child with the condition finding ways around avoiding triggers really can be a battle.
Family pets can also be an issue for some and in many cases a cat or dog may not even be considered due to the dander and fur, however they don’t always have to be as the infographic from uHoo below show.
