This week has been another mixed bag of carrots with holiday packing, treasure hunts and illness.
Saturday 4th October – Since I am sidelined at hockey for the time being due to ill-health and the Dr preferring me not to do anything strenuous until all the testing is complete, It was Beth playing hockey instead of me … it made me a little excited for her but a little sad too. However I got the privilege of looking after Joshua and Lucy (Lucy is the daughter of another player and is such a cutie pie) and while the match was playing the 3 of us went on an adventure to find treasure! (pinecones)
Sunday 5th October – Joshua is all ready for his first official dressing up costume party… the theme .. Halloween.
Monday 6th October – New recipe for Turkey and Bacon BBQ Casserole … it was super tasty!
Tuesday 7th October – Since declaring I was going to give blood back in May I went for my second session to give blood and thought these stickers were fantastic!
Wednesday 8th October – After feeling a little poorly these beautiful non flowers really cheered me up! Although not sure Ollie is so chuffed as he had been to hospital for an injection in his spine to block the pain in his back.
Thursday 9th October – It seems this helicopter is a fairly regular occurrence nearby recently and this time it was landing a few streets over!
Friday 10th October – We are packed and ready to roll! .. we are off for a long weekend with Park Resorts at Barmston Beach and really can’t wait to get there … trust me he did put clothes on before we left… thankfully!
