Wow I have done it … I have completed my second full year of Project 365 and I have loved every minute of it… OK maybe for a few days I may have grumbled! .. What I do love about this bloggers linky is that I now have a photographic album of snippets of our whole lives over the last 2 years. Although not in great detail its like a photo diary and I love it.
So here we go with our final days of 2014 ….
Saturday 20th December – A Christmas delivery from the team at Nintendo .. although I think royal mail were perhaps a little rough .. but still equally nice! …
Sunday 21st December – I have not bought crumpets in a while but while out shopping Joshua noticed these and we just had to get some!
Monday 22nd December – first thing we headed off for me to get a scan as I had been feeling really poorly and it turns out I have gallstones!
In the afternoon I finally got my TV book for Christmas .. although we have recordable TV I still prefer to look in the book and then forget to record all the programmes I want to watch!
Tuesday 23rd December – I put a shout out on Facebook over the weekend as we had been left with a really unpleasant bathroom. I won a competition and a plumber measured up for the radiator and vanity unit we wanted as our prize then he fitted them both appallingly and left the floor in pieces.
Someone I went to school with answered my cry for help and came on the Monday to refit and sort the unit and install a radiator that fits and doesn’t leak. However the flooring was done by one of his friends at tea time and thankfully we now have a safe and clean bathroom! .. Thanks Ben!
Wednesday 24th December – Christmas eve!! .. busy day for us, I cooked lasagne for my in-laws for lunch followed by a game of catch phrase and then my parents for a buffet tea followed by the kids decorating their gingerbread men for Santa!
Thursday 25th December – Christmas day – A morning visit from my parents to watch the children open some presents, lunch at home and then fat pants, chocs and the sofa while the kids played … perfect
Friday 26th December – A whole night of being poorly with my Gallstones meant just over an hours sleep and one very tired and upset Jaime … so we cancelled our plans to go for tea with my parents and I stayed in my PJ’s all day with the kids … Ollie went to work and Beth never wanting to miss a party went to my parents on her own and came back in SNOW!!
Saturday 27th December – I think my teen is more excitable than my toddler in the snow .. although what is it about teens and no coats .. although we are reviewing the snow boots and thank they were a hit!
Sunday 28th December – Ollie is the best curry cooker so here is his Turkey curry!
Monday 29th December – Since next year is going to be about weight loss, maybe another baby and quality time … we headed off to get a holiday book for our anniversary in June … We have now booked to go for a week all-inclusive to Tunisia!
Tuesday 30th December – I baked my first real life cake – Toblerone Cake then Joshua headed outside to get some snow playtime in!
Wednesday 31st December – For the final day of the year Joshua and I headed off for me to give blood but it was cancelled so we pulled up on the way back into the village to see the stunning view that our village is surrounded by …
So there you have it …. its been an interesting year with some serious ups and downs … but roll on 2015 I know its going to be so much better!
Wishing you all a safe and happy 2015
