Over the last few years I have been in awe of many of my friends and family as they have challenged themselves and put their all into pushing their limits and having fun with Race For Life and raising money for such an amazing cause.
Although I am pregnant currently I have decided that as soon as baby is born I would like to think I can get my name on that list and the pink tutu on to challenge myself!
Being ultimately unfit now never mind the extra pregnancy weight over the next few months means it would be fair to say I am rather anxious about getting to the point that I am fit enough and so training will be much-needed on the run up to race day.
For me it seems my prayers have been answered with 12 week training plan app that will keep me on the straight and narrow and focus me on the journey ahead as I am not known for my perseverance on the fitness front!
The app should help me on many aspect of my training such as nutrition, activity, motivation and even coaching. The Kiqplan app gives you access to weekly workout videos, video instructions from top trainers, recipes and feedback all motivating you through the 12 weeks programme.
What I really love is the fact I can use my Fitbit Charge and my iPhone as the app can be used on loads of devices so there really is no excuse for me to get my bum moving no matter if I upgrade!
So this is it 2016 will see me in pink wobbling and persevering round that Race For Life course for the first time ever! … I am sure there will be tears but here is hoping with the training they will be tears of joy!
