Last weekend I sent Ollie (hubs) into the loft to retrieve the limited selection of baby and maternity items we saved up there from Joshua and it would be fair to say that I had not saved as much of the baby and maternity items as I had thought I had.
Instead the OCD in me began to panic … We all know baby stuff is not particularly cheap but having found out with Joshua for most things getting what you pay for really can come into its own, especially where toys are concerned.
Although my favourite toys tend to fall into the Educational bracket I am lucky I kept a fair few of these along with the 6 months + toys, with bright colours, bounceable exteriors and many with some irritating musical tunes. However what we really needed to think about was buying some soft toys for the early months … and so when House of Fraser had some fantastic options available we jumped at the chance to find some much-needed basics.
Lemaze is a brand we loved and trusted with Joshua and so we decided this baby needed to try some of them too and so managed to get a really cute ‘My First Ted’ along with lots of clip on and wrap around toys … after all every baby needs something for on the go right? … OK I can’t help it they were just super cute!
I am so excited about starting to shop for our newest arrival and getting things ready my organisational tendencies really are getting super excited to see what is out there almost 5 years after buying them last time. So much changes in the world of toys!
If you could pick any children’s toys to recommend which would it be and why?
