Replacing The Current Ford Focus For Something Decent

Replacing The Current Ford Focus For Something Decent The Oliver\\\'s Madhouse
Ollie and I looking to upgrade his car for one with lower miles and more cost active than his battered old focus. The focus has been a trusty companion over the years but it is starting to show it’s age so it is time to put it out of its misery and upgrade for a new one.

The world of car shopping is a bit of a minefield so we have started looking on car shopping sites and comparison websites. We need a car that is spacious enough for the four of us to day trip in but it won’t need to be to big as its more for Ollie to get to work and back on the 35 mile round trip each day.

We weren’t set on a specific model of car but for our needs we thought that a hatchback would have been the right size, as long as it was a four door so we can easily get the children’s’ car seats without any bother.

Replacing The Current Ford Focus For Something Decent The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseThere were lots of options for hatchbacks on the various websites that we have looked at but the ones that stood out to us were the Audis. They seemed pretty sporty which is what Ollie is looking for but also looked like they had plenty of room for the family too, including a pushchair.

We have been reading lots of good reviews from current Audi owners and the model that seemed to be best suited for us was the Audi A1. We liked that you could get it in diesel to help with the fuel costs and there was a nice big boot which is an added bonus.

Another great bonus with an Audi is the Audi warranty, which protects against general car faults and lasts after around three years or 60,000 miles but is very easy to extend through other companies.

So far we are pretty sure that the Audi A1 is the car for us to replace the good old reliable Focus, but we don’t want to rush into buying just yet so we are going to book in to test drive a few different engine size’s and ages of the A1 to see which one is best for us and see how much we should be looking to spend on our new car.

I didn’t think we would be car shopping quite so soon after buying my Vauxhall Sports Tourer in October but when repairs start costing more than the car, it’s got to go so watch this space for what we actually pick.
