This story starts a while ago and was not a pleasant one, what should have been an exciting facelift of our bathroom turned out to be the mother of all horrors after the plumber from hell left us high and dry with a job half-finished and had bodged what he had claimed to have done!
We were rescued by an old school friend of ours who was in the business of bathrooms and rebuilding and thankfully he finished refitting and replacing some of the damaged floor and we finally got use our bathroom, however now I am pregnant I have decided to jazz up the decor in the bathroom with some extra shelving and even update the towels to bring in a bigger splash of colour.
My Pregnancy is making my back and pelvis incredibly uncomfortable and part of me wishes that I had invested into a whirlpool bath with lovely comforting water jets and one that would be built into steps would be pretty amazing with this dodgy pelvis of mine … however for that I fear I would need a bigger house or more time invested researching for our perfect bathroom.
Don’t get me wrong I don’t want anything fancy or over the top I am certainly still one for clean lines and block colours including white but it’s certainly nice to dream at what we could do if money was no object …for the moment I am going to take the bathroom back for myself and finally get those hours of lounging around in the tub, whirlpool or not with some scented candles … after all it won’t be long before I am talking baby bath seats, plastic yellow ducks and hoping for nothing floating in there … send a new book and some cake I am going in!
What would make your perfect bathroom?
