Recently we were sent the Bosch Sky Two Slice Toaster to review from Euronics and I have to say I was rather excited.
I know it’s slightly odd to be so excited by a toaster, but our previous 4 slice toaster was on its last legs and if I am honest I had hated it from the off. It was complicated and seemed to be the difficult thing to keep clean as it harboured crumbs for fun.
The Bosch Two Slice Toaster has a really modern stylish look to it with its shiny black and stainless steel finish makes it really look like high-end. However I was worried that a more ‘high end’ type product would be too much for my simple needs of tasting well, easy to control and easy to clean. However I was relatively surprised at just how much I have loved the new toaster.
It has variable heat setting which you don’t need to possess a degree for with its easy to use dial. It has been super to swap from the kids preferred anaemic toast to my much preferred dark/bordering on burnt offerings.
This Bosch Sky Toaster also features two other handy settings too. Firstly there is a defrost feature that allows you to pop frozen bread in and defrost and then grill it to perfection.
The second feature however has been my favourite. The reheat is perfect for our house. I often forget my toast after sorting the kids and end up with stone cold toast. This however has a reheat button that allows you to warm it back up with taking my perfectly dark drown toast to burnt. I love it. Both buttons are easy to use and all on the same side making it look tidy and aesthetically pleasing.
The toaster comes with cord storage underneath so you can hide any excess out of sight and its easy to access the crumb tray at the bottom and slots back in once it has been emptied. It also has an integrated bun warmer so there is storing of extra parts which for me is great.
I had reservations on the stainless steel aspect of the toaster as its notorious for having to clean fingerprints off but we have been using it a little while now and it seems it must repel them as fully touching it doesn’t leave anything behind which is a bonus!
Obviously this is not the cheapest option for a toaster but overall I love the look, the ease of use with great user-friendly settings and features that only enhance the product not complicate it are all a bonus.
The Bosch Sky Two Slice Toaster is currently retailing on Euronics for £79.99
