A few months ago I was contacted by the lovely people at Bundle Bean and asked if we would review their lovely Bundle Bean Solar.
Since we knew we were going on holiday to Menorca in June and the fact Joshua is so fair skinned this gave us the prime opportunity to test it out and give me peace of mind along the way!
The Bundle Bean Solar is the latest in sun safety, and made of a breathable, moisture-wicking woven fabric, that provides UPF 50+ sun protection to keep little ones safely covered in all types of buggy/stroller, car-seat, carrier/sling or bike seat.
It comes with a coordinating, quick-drying hooded beach wrap and these two layers can be attached together for extra warmth on a chilly summer evening.
Let me start by saying how blooming fantastic it is space wise! while packing for a holiday we really did have to ensure we didn’t pack too much and the Solar is really compact and it slotted in the case well as well as fitted snuggley in the pushchairs basket underneath.
It was super easy to attach with the long straps and poppers, in fact it only took a minutes. Now with Joshua being 2 I did expect him to kick it off but in all honesty it didn’t seem to bother him!
I loved using the Bundle Bean Solar in the evenings as it was still in the high 20’s while out and about and yet by adding the hooded beach wrap it made it a little warmer once the sun went down.
I really really love this, and so wish they were around when Joshua was first born as we really would of been able to some real real use from it! As parents we often worry about our babies and tots burning and overheating in the sun and this eliminates all the stress!
On my weight loss journey I am going to be getting a bike seat fitted and this product will be fantastic to use while we are out and about on the bike too!!
I personally think this is a really innovative and clever item and I will be recommending this to my pregnant best friend!
