Some of you will remember that I hosted a competition a few weeks ago from the people at Fitflops and with not having come across this brand before I was given the opportunity to review a pair for myself.
Now having ongoing SPD and painful heels and arches I had been on the lookout for something trendy yet comfortable.
So firstly there was the mission of actually picking a pair. I kid you not when I say this took me around 3 days, I had around 4 pairs that I couldn’t make my mind up with but eventually I choose the Due Ballerina Leather ones in black and marshmallow.
What is certainly worth noting is that they have a large selection of styles in half sizes too! which I found a god send since I really I am a 5.5.
When they arrived I was totally over the moon with them, they were sleek and smooth and beautifully well made. Now being the honest person I am I was concerned originally that price was quite high but on seeing them for the first time I was completely smitten and could see the quality so they are in my opinion worth it.
These shoes with their unique “Microwobbleboard” which helps to defuse underfoot pressure and absorbs shock it made them the most comfortable shoes I have had on my feet. I now wear them at every given opportunity and I am so pleased that these are now my spring favourites!
So yes these are not the cheapest but in this case I really feel it has been ‘you get what you pay for’ and the quality in these shoes has shone through throughout.
I am now a fan of the Brand and although it may take me a couple of weeks longer to save I have some summer shoes on my radar now.
